In September and October 2024, you can view Susanne Pittroff’s work “… an einem Tisch” (… at a table) on the Exhibition Wall in Hall E.
What defines a space? How does this change over time? And what actions cause this change? Reflections on the ambiguity of marks and signals and the resultant change in spatial perception are a recurrent theme in the work of the Munich artist Susanne Pittroff. The starting point of all deliberations for her site-related compositions, whether made for the duration of an exhibition or as permanent works of art, is always the specific situation of the space in question.
On the Exhibition Wall, she shows the objects below and a wall drawing entitled “… an einem Tisch” (… at a table), whose fragmentary forms complement each other, forming a whole and inviting viewers to come together.
