More toilets, more seating and more flexible cloakrooms in the summer months are just some of the improvements that we are making to Hall E and the Isarphilharmonie for the coming season. The construction work, which will begin mid-July 2024, is expected to be completed by the end of August. The hall will remain open during this time, but there may be some noise and disruption, especially in Hall E.

The GAiA Deli & News Café in Hall E will be closed in August. During this time you can enjoy coffee & cake, snacks & drinks from 10 AM in the GAiA Restaurant next door.

Dust barriers on the ground floor

To keep disruption to a minimum, dust barriers will be erected on the ground floor of Hall E on 15 July. They are shown in red in the plan below. They will block off both cloakrooms and the corridors to the toilets on the ground floor. The Isarphilharmonie, the lift and the stairs to the upper floors will remain accessible.

Temporary toilets outside Hall X

Toilet facilities are available on the upper floors of Hall E. There will also be temporary toilets on the Am Kulturkraftwerk plaza outside Hall X for the duration of the building work – a cabin with ladies’ toilets and another with disabled access.

Signs and notices on site will provide information about the work and temporary arrangements.
