A snow-covered and brightly lit village at dusk. A mountain panorama can be seen behind it.

Südtiroler Weihnacht takes the audience to a mountain region in northern Italy where Christmas celebrations remain very much steeped in tradition, with sparkling lights, snow-covered mountain landscapes and a romantic festive atmosphere. Seasonal folk music, winter tales and contemplative poems from the province of South Tyrol bring this very special atmosphere to the Isarphilharmonie.
