To mark the start of the 2024/25 season, the Munich Philharmonic builds a bridge between its tradition and its future. One of the highlights in the orchestra’s long-standing relationship with Bruckner is the world premiere of the composer’s Symphony No 9 in its unaltered original version, of which only sketches exist.

As a soloist, Lahav Shani will perform Bach’s Piano Concerto No 1, BWV 1052, demonstrating his impressive versatility as an artist and providing an insight into the stylistic range awaiting us at the upcoming concerts.
