With guitar, bass, cello, banjo, piano and polyphonic vocal harmonies, Peter and the Lost Boys create an incomparable sound in their live performances, developing an energy that can hardly be captured in the studio. The band’s humour and flair, coupled with driving rhythms never fails to create an atmosphere that invites you to linger, listen, sing along and dance.

Peter and the Lost Boys have made a name for themselves in Munich’s music and folk scene, with a loyal fan base regularly attending their gigs.

Peter and the Lost Boys – five musicians who have left their homes for Munich and joined forces here – embark on a journey together, bringing the spirit of traditional folk into the present day. With guitar, bass, cello, banjo, piano and polyphonic vocal harmonies, they create a sound that moves somewhere between early Mumford & Sons, the Avett Brothers and Simon and Garfunkel, with distinct elements of Irish music. Their lyrics deal with the sense of being lost in the world, longing for freedom and the search for home, with always a hint of ire at those who would curb our freedom and turn us into outcasts – as befits folk, the music of the displaced and dispossessed. But the danceable grooves and catchy tunes nevertheless make for a highly enjoyable experience.

This event ends at 9.30 PM
